20.1. – 5.2. Orchids – jewels in the land of plant
The greenhouses of Botanical Gardens will turn into the kingdom of orchids for several days! There will be tens of different species installed all over the greenhouses for you to admire. There is a 30 year old tradition of cultivating and breeding orchids. There are about 150 species and 100 cultivars orchids in the Garden’s collections. Exhibition open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. 24.2. – 18.3. Mysterious world of sea shells
Get in the mood for summer vacation in the deepest winter. The exhibition offers more then thousand different sea shells from tropical seas and oceans from all over the world (the Caribbean, Pacific). There will be also display of snail shells, star fish, shark jaws and orher attractions ranging from few milimeters up to 45 cm. Exhibition open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. 20.4.- 29.4. Cactuses and succulents - spiky beauty of plants
The fan club of cactus growers invites you to an exhibition of various cactuses and succulents, which will be accompanied by presentation of pictures from Cental and South America. Exhibition open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. Read more about Botanical Gardens here.

11.5. – 12.5. Open doors day – spring
Two days of free entrance to the botanical gardens, when you can admire every nook of it. Its exhibition of wonderful insectivores and subtropical flora in 1,742 m2 of greenhouses is also worth seeing. Recommended for a romantic walk or a relaxing afternoon. Read more about Botanical Gardens here.

18.5. – 30.6. Butterflies of the  exotic tropical world
The liveliest and the most attractive exhibition when the real butterflies will fly over your heads and might even land on you! In 2011, it attracted to the Botanical Gardens over 20 000 visitors. Every day different butterflies will fly around one of the greenhouses, together over 100 species of various shapes, colours or sizes from Indonesia, China or Latin America. 28.9.- 31.10. Plants of autumn
